Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing Fleck's Photography to document your birth story. Birth photography is a unique service that requires flexibility and communication from both photographer and client. I will be on-call beginning at 37 weeks gestation until your baby arrives. Please notify me as soon as labor begins, when you head to your birth location, and of any significant changes in your labor progress. While every effort will be made to arrive promptly and capture your story, birth is unpredictable. Coverage of every moment cannot be guaranteed due to rapid labor, medical emergencies, weather, or other circumstances beyond my control. The safety of the birthing parent and baby will always come first. I will follow all instructions given by medical staff and will never interfere with medical care. A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your due date. The remaining balance must be paid by 36 weeks gestation. Due to the on-call nature of birth photography, payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Some hospitals, birth centers, or providers may have photography restrictions. Clients are responsible for communicating any known limitations before labor. A sneak peek image will be provided within 12 hours whenever possible, and your full edited gallery will be delivered within 10 days. Your privacy is important. Images will not be shared publicly without your permission. By booking a Birth Space Photography session with Fleck's Photography, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these policies.
